December 2005 - Damon shoots for High Noon
Entertainment. They produced a show for the TLC Network showcasing the
Midway High School cheerleaders. The working title of the program is
Texas Cheerleaders. It's scheduled to air in the spring of 2006.
John travels to Niger, Africa for a shoot with the IMB.
November 2005 - Shooting commences on Hero
Video Productions documentary of comic book writer David Mack in Arlington,
Texas. Greg Jurls is writer/director.
John Franklin shoots his latest TEEX project. Damon serves as DP.
Damon, John & David Feagan shoot the x-Tax Competition at Texas A&M
and The University of Houston for PricewaterhouseCoopers.
October 2005 - Trash Day is selected for
screening at the Red Wasp Film Festival.
Damon and Bob Richardson shoot for World Business Review with Alexander
Haige in Glen Rose, Texas.
The first episode of TSTC's updated Technology Previews TV show is
completed and begins airing. Freddie provided graphics and animation.
Damon directed and edited the program with Lacy Orpin of TSTC.
September 2005 - Pickup shots for RISEN
are shot in Bellmead. Justin Wilson shoots and Bob Richardson serves
as one of the stunt doubles. Associate Producers Amanda Carver and Scooter
Radcliffe are on location too.
Freddie authors an interactive CD-Rom for The City of Lancaster, Texas.
Metroplex Health System updates their 16mm film TV spots.
July/August 2005 - Damon serves as Associate
Producer and Director of Photography (DP) on the feature film The Proper
Care & Feeding of an American Messiah. Brian Elliott produced the movie
shot in Waco. Chris Hansen wrote and directed.
John travels to India for IMB producer Craig Martin for a documentary.
June 2005 - FxF shoots national TV spots
for Cox Cable at the MPS Studios in Dallas. Greg Phelps produces and
Damon is DP. The spots were shot in HD on the Panasonic Varicam.
Damon travels to Cancun, Mexico to shoot a highlight video for American
Income.
May 2005 - Former Baylor intern Brad Holbrook
shoots a documentary in New Braunfels, TX. Damon is DP.
Star Wars Episode III: Revenge of the Sith is released.
April 2005 - Trash Day, a short film by
Damon Crump wins a Platinum Award at the WorldFest Houston International
Film Festival. John Franklin produced the short with Damon and was also
the DP. Greg Jurls and Damon's wife Karen joined the two producers
in Houston for the screening at a local cinema. Freddie Aguilar, David
Feagan & Thomas Liberty completed the special effects.
March/April 2005 - Principal photography
on the motion picture RISEN begins March 5th and shoots thru April 17th.
Damon Crump directs the movie with John Franklin serving as DP. They
both are producers along with creator David Talbot. RISEN is an action,
adventure zombie thriller scheduled for release in late 2006.
